The Buddy is a hands free, trailing fall arrest device. Ideal for use when working in fall arrest, or in conjunction with a work positioning system. Compatible with 10.5mm to 11mm ropes, the Buddy is designed to work without user intervention, following up & down the rope/fall arrest system.
The Buddy is rated for a single person load, in compliance with EN 353-2:2002. The simple design of the Buddy makes cleaning & inspection easy, & a hole for a tether cord assists in preventing dropped equipment. The Buddy may be used with a lanyard up to 0.5m in length including connectors.
