Measurements refer to body size not garment dimensions. Wearing ease alters depending on style and fabric.
Chest: Take measurement around the fullest part of the chest, just under the arms and across the shoulder blades.
Sleeve: With elbow bent, measure from centre back of neck (at C7 vertebra) to elbow and down to prominent outside wrist bone.
Waist: Measure around the smallest part of your waist (natural waistline).
Inseam: Measure a pair of well fitting pants from crotch to bottom of leg.
The Mont Ascent Softshell Jacket, made from Polartec Power Shield, is the perfect outer layer for cold and blustery winter days. Whether you're out on the skis, walking through foggy bushland or cheering the under 7's at the soccer fields.
The ultra durable outer finish with excellent water repellency and incredible wind resistance combined with a brushed fleece lining makes the Ascent the go to garment for keeping the winter cold at bay.
Haven't been able to use yet, cannot go to the snow
Great jacket, sizing was slightly smaller than expected but still great
Have had this jacket for only a few weeks, but have worn it for daily outings in the cold, wind and rain and it has held up extremely well! The cut is great - I was perhaps a little surprised by just how high the collar when I tried it on, but it's great for keeping out wind on a cold day. Great freedom of movement (though I'm probably between sizes and went for the L instead of M) but I'm most impressed by the wind and water resistance. Perhaps not the most breathable shell, but highly adjustable to keep from overheating (collar, cuffs, hem). Would highly recommend and already have - my father bought one just the other day.
I’ve been buying Mont product for over a decade & all are made to the demands of using your gear in extreme climatic conditions, the build quality is consistently excellent, and the Ascent shell is no exception, the fact they look great is an additional bonus to me, another Mont product I will have for the next decade to come since my days of out growing gear are long gone.
