The DMM Cardiac Arrester descender is a figure 8 style abseiling device that can be used with different diameter ropes in a high or low friction setup. Its kinked shape accommodates for greater control with skinny ropes, or a smooth descent with thicker ropes. This figure 8 descender is hot forged form aluminium & has enough surface area to dispel heat on long descents. The anodised surface helps to prevent corrosion.
