Measurements refer to body size not garment dimensions. Wearing ease alters depending on style and fabric.
Bust: Take measurement around the fullest part of the chest, just under the arms and across the shoulder blades.
Sleeve: With elbow bent, measure from centre back of neck (at C7 vertebra) to elbow and down to prominent outside wrist bone.
Waist: Measure around the smallest part of your waist (natural waistline).
Hips: Stand with feet together and measure largest circumference at hips.
Inseam: Measure a pair of well fitting pants from crotch to bottom of leg.
An enduring classic bushwalking jacket designed for women, the Tempest jacket has long set the benchmark for high performance rainwear suitable for bushwalking and ski touring.
Made from mid weight Hydronaute Pro 3 layer fabric it offers outstanding breathability and waterproofness. Features that protect you from cold, wet weather include a generous 3 piece storm hood with multipoint adjustment and cargo hand-warmer pockets. The front zip is protected by two external storm flaps and an under zip flap.
The fabric is durable enough to withstand the long-term use of heavy backpacks and offers a high level of pin hole resistance making it ideal for walking in the wilds of the Australian bush. Make the Tempest your trusty companion when next you venture into the wilderness.
Comfort in the Extreme: In all conditions Hydronaute PRO provides a superior level of performance, delivering significantly enhanced breathability while maintaining a totally waterproof and windproof barrier.
Leaving in its wake the limitations of microporous waterproof fabrics, Hydronaute PRO, with its hydrophilic membrane, delivers significantly higher breathability in all conditions while maintaining a 100% waterproof, totally windproof barrier.
Hydronaute PRO; Superior Breathability: Hydronaute PRO utilises the latest technology in bonding breathable membrane to face fabric. Unlike the bonding agents of most microporous fabrics which clog pores, the adhesive on Hydronaute PRO is breathable in itself. This allows for a greater volume of moisture vapour to be transported through the membrane.
Practical and stylish! It's much lighter weight than I expected making it perfect for all outdoor adventures. I'm really happy with it.
Replacement for my 20 year old ***** Pallin Goretex jacket. Good old fassioned 3/4 length 3 layer japara jacket. Sturdy and well put together. Should last a long time. Great design, but strange visor on the hood. Would prefer a traditional style peaked visor. Nothing a baseball cap can't fix.
Okay so I haven’t tried many jackets in my life, this is my 4th ever Mont raincoat. I haven’t found another one I want to buy, but I haven’t really looked! Mine have got pretty heavy use. They are great when new, but do get leaky with age. Do any raincoats not? I’ve had each raincoat an average of five years each, and they were pretty leaky by the end, especially round the back of my neck and in the arms, but I did work in the outdoors for six months a year, and have other adventures the rest of the yeae. I really rate the handwarmer pockets, and just the overall design.
