Measurements refer to body size not garment dimensions. Wearing ease alters depending on style and fabric.
Chest: Take measurement around the fullest part of the chest, just under the arms and across the shoulder blades.
Sleeve: With elbow bent, measure from centre back of neck (at C7 vertebra) to elbow and down to prominent outside wrist bone.
Waist: Measure around the smallest part of your waist (natural waistline).
Inseam: Measure a pair of well fitting pants from crotch to bottom of leg.
Easy to wear and reliably simple, the Bushshirt is perfect for cool summer nights, relaxing at the campsite after a hard day on the trail or as a mid layer on longer walks. Made from soft, lightweight and comfortable Polartec Classic Micro 100 weight fleece.
The cuffs & hem are finished with Polartec Power Dry trim which reduces pilling & increases durability on these high abrasion areas.
A contoured collar provides improved fit and thermal protection, a vertical zip on the chest pocket makes access easier and split seams over the shoulders reduce pressure points under pack straps.
The online purchase was easy and efficient & delivery was quick. The quality of the fleece top is impressive (I sometimes can forget what good quality can be like. There is noticeable difference.) I have other, now older MONT products that are still going strong: Polar Fleece Jacket, Down Jacket, Down Vest, Gortex Over trousers & Gortex Jacket. They get used, sometimes in extreme locations. My overtrousers smell permanently of elephant seal & my gortex jacket could benefit form a little repair, but they still perform well and probably beyond the standard intended use. I like the feel, performance and confidence from using quality gear. I have never been disappointed with a MONT piece of gear (touch wood). And I like supporting local & Australian businesses who offer a high level of product and service.
My wife calls this part of my "uniform". It is my everyday "go to" as it is good looking, hard wearing, light and warm. Perfect for cool evenings around the BBQ or a mid layer in midwinter.
As the title says. I have been using 2 of these for a while now and have worn them out due to use, wash, us wash repeat. No frills and just the one pocket where needed. Very light and warm for cool mornings and evenings.
I bought a bushshirt at the start of this winter and I have worn it almost every day since. It has become a best friend to me. It is always warm, easy to keep clean, quick drying after washing, doesn't smell, hasn't pilled at all. It will be my go to jumper for many winters to come. Great work Mont.
