THE MONT GUARENTEE

THE MONT 5 YEAR WARRANTY

Mont Adventure Equipment products come with a 5 year warranty against faulty materials and workmanship commencing from the date of purchase. 

Should a problem arise during normal use, we're here to help. We are passionate about making gear for the toughest conditions on earth and keeping it going.

At Mont, we are committed to reducing waste and making a positive environmental impact. Repairing products is one way we contribute to meaningful change. If we are able to repair your product to an acceptable level, we will. Once repaired we will check our work to ensure that the items performance is as expected before returning it to you. If we are not able to repair we will offer you a replacement or a refund of your purchase price.  

For gear that can't be repaired and has come to the end of its adventurous life, we have partnered with Upparel, who recover and recycle textile waste across Australia. 

Failure of products due to improper care, abrasive wear, damage caused by accidents, misuse or the breakdown of materials and components through reasonable wear and tear will not be covered by the Mont product warranty. Unauthorised repairs or product modifications may void the warranty. 

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. 

 The Mont Adventure Equipment product warranty applies only to Mont Adventure Equipment brand product.

HOW TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM

To begin the assessment process please submit your details using our intake form below. 

Include a detailed description of the issue you are facing, tell us about how you have used, cared for and maintained your item during your ownership and anything else you think we need to know to make an initial assessment. It is always helpful to have photos of your item and if possible, to photograph the issue you are facing. These can be emailed to customerservice@mont.com.au 

We require a copy of the original purchase receipt or other proof of purchase to process your claim. 

Once we have received your details, our team will get in touch with an initial assessment and let you know the next steps in the process. 

To ensure the highest standards of safety and quality in our repair and assessment services, we kindly ask that all gear sent to us to be thoroughly cleaned beforehand. This helps protect the health and safety of our staff and maintain the efficiency of our repair equipment. We are unable to proceed with repairs or assessments if gear is not received in a clean condition. If gear is received unclean, a laundering fee may be charged.

Adventures are what our gear is made for! We know better than most that sometimes the adventures add up and despite careful use, storage and maintenance, gear can need a bit of help to keep it at its best.  

Our skilled team can handle most repairs from the smallest hole to an overhaul for your well loved sleeping bag.

Our extensive fabric library means we can colour match fabrics as closely as possible. If you'd like a visible or contrasting repair to show the story of your adventures on your gear just let us know! 

Our skilled technicians will handle your repairs with care in our Australian head office in Canberra ACT. We arrange repairs via post or through our flagship Canberra store. 

We kindly ask that all gear sent to us for repair be thoroughly cleaned beforehand. This helps protect the health and safety of our staff and maintain the efficiency of our repair equipment. We are unable to proceed with repairs or assessments if gear is not received in a clean condition. If gear is received unclean, a laundering fee may be charged in addition to the repair charge.
