WHO YOU ARE

You are a highly motivated outdoor enthusiast looking to join our retail team working in the best outdoor gear store in Australia. You thrive in a fast paced environment, excel in customer service and possess a can-do ready-to-help attitude. You have a deep knowledge of technical outdoor clothing and equipment and know that getting it right the first time and everytime is essential to customer satisfaction.

PRIMARY DUTIES

• Handling day to day retail sales and customer enquiries.

• Help with day to day restocking and tidying of the retail shop. Assist with instore.

• Merchandising and shop window displays.

• Assist with stocktakes and Admin procedures as required.

•  Be responsible for Shop open/close/cash up procedures.

•  Assist with occasional Events organisation and attendance. Reply to customer emails.

• Assist with placing customer and ex-stock orders as required.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• A can-do attitude and willingness to assist customers with detailed questions about product.

• An eye for improving efficiency and shop processes.

• Enjoy a fast-paced retail environment.

• A broad knowledge and experience in using outdoor apparel and equipment.

• Attention to detail.

• A solid foundation in point of sale and Microsoft office.

• A broad knowledge of and experience in the outdoors.
