An Explosion of Colour and Life. By Leann Geach

Throughout Canberra's lo****wn, Mont Retail Manager Leann has been appreciating the trails of Mt Ainslie.

“We are so lucky to live in the bush capital. Getting out in nature is good for the soul and the mind. Especially when greeted with an explosion of colour and life around every corner. Yesterday I spotted or heard 23 bird species, frogs loud and proud, kangaroos with little heads poking from pouches, ants repairing holes in nexts from echidna attacks, said echidna, and bearded dragons and shingle-backs sunning themselves on the quieter tracks; So much to be thankful for.

With only one week of lockdown left, reinvigorate yourself by taking advantage of the springtime profusion in the nature reserves throughout Canberra.”

By Leann Geach, Manager at the Mont Shop in Canberra.
