Rock Exotica's RockGrab 90° evolved out of the traditional rope grab. The RockGrab is milled along the side to remove excess material, reducing weight without compromising strength. This makes the RockGrab one of the lightest rope grabs available. Additionally, the axle sits entirely within the body of the grab - no bolts or pins to worry about snagging. The RockGrab is designed to be left on the rope, and is compatible with ropes of 9mm to 13mm in diameter. The 90° variation is not for vertical ascent, but instead is designed for use on horizontal lines and adjustable lanyards, allowing optimum orientation of the carabiner connected to it.
