Yale Cordage XTC is a tight braid consisting of 16 individual strands of polyester. A high-twist core of torque-balanced polyester keeps the construction firm and round, providing an extra measure of safety. XTC has an abrasion-resistant construction and has excellent energy absorption characteristics. This flipline is spliced with an allow swivel carabiner, helping to prevent twisting. The other end is backspliced to prevent flipline adjuster coming off.
