With Autumn's cool nights and (relatively) mild weather in full swing, there's no better time to look back on a Summer full of adventure.
Mont Shop Manager Leann has given the Moondance 2 FN tent a workout over the past few months. A trip to the Budawangs, the Snowy Mountains, and the Wilderness of the Far South Coast.
“Not only can the Moondance 2 handle thunderstorms in the Snowy Mountains and wind storms in the Budawangs, it’s also a lucky tent. We were camped on the beach near Cape Howe, just above the high tide line. Two days later when we came back into phone reception we learned about the disaster in Tonga and the Tsunami warning for the night we had been camped on the beach. Freaky.”

Backcountry skiing isn't for the fainthearted – it requires elements of both mountaineering and skiing – but the scenes can be well worth it. If you are ready to adventure beyond the well-travelled slopes and take your adventuring to the next level, Mont Adventure Equipment is here with a guide to help you get started with the right equipment.

At Mont Adventure Equipment, we understand that the best outdoor climbing shoes are not just about the brand or the price but about finding a perfect match for your feet and climbing style.

After the western light had faded I got my camera out and planned on doing a little astro photography. Pleasantly, my first image showed a cheery red and green glow to the south. The Southern Lights were active!
