Tickets purchased on the Mont website will be available to collect at the venue from 6pm.

Reel Rock is on again, the Canberra climbing community’s social night of the year! Hosted by Mont Adventure Equipment at the National Film & Sound Archives cinema & gardens, the night features 5 films from around the world showcasing climbing’s best doing what they love.

A great night out with the best new rock climbing films, BBQ & beers served up by the ANU Mountaineering Club & lucky door gear prizes selected from the Mont Shop’s great range!

Reel Rock 11 will screen at the National Film & Sound Archives on the 20th of October.

Food and drink not included in ticket price

March in Mongolia is late winter and my destination was a lake in northern Mongolia called Lake Khovsgol. This lake stretches north 135kms from the village of Khatgal to within 25kms of the Russian border. In the savage Mongolian winter, where temperatures can drop below -50°C, the surface of the whole lake freezes to a depth of approximately 1.1 metres.
