“The indestructible Mont Jacket”

Dear Monty,

My wife recently bought me a Mont jacket which is an excellent fit, comfortable and looks great. The birthday gift made me think that I really should write to you to tell you that we bought two Mont jackets in Box Hill Melbourne in 1984. These two jackets that we still wear everyday in the cooler seasons on our property just outside of Melbourne, have been the most incredibly tough, durable, warm jackets I think that could ever have been made. They have gone through literally everything we could throw at them in nearly 40 years! My wife and I are always saying how we can't believe how these jackets have not only survived nearly half a century of extreme conditions without falling apart, but are still warm , easy to wash and as tough as titanium.

Congratulations on producing a product that we have found nothing on the planet that rivals it. See our Mont jackets attached.

Regards,
Peter and Connie Watson :-) : -)

Likewise – my wife and I also bought similar jackets in the early 80s and they are still going strong. At the same time we bought the pants to go with the jacket and beside a little shine on the backside because they get a lot more wear, they are going strong as well.

The pines were extensively studied some time ago and the conclusion was that they are up to 1,600 years old and quite possibly far older as the original pines may be long gone and the descendants may even date back to the Last Glacial Maximum about 20,000 years ago.
