The Mont 24. Australia’s Iconic 24 Hour Mountain Bike Race.

October 29, 2013

Mont Adventure Equipment has a long history of supporting 24 hour mountain bike racing in Australia. In fact Mont was on board from the very beginning of 24 hour racing and was naming rights sponsor of the very first 24 hour Mountain Bike race in Australia which was held at Deeks reserve in the ACT in 1999. Since those early days the interest in 24 hour racing has grown significantly and now the Mont 24 has become one of the largest events of its type in the world.

Known simply as the Mont.

What is The Mont 24 Hour Race?

The MONT is a classic weekend of mountain biking and the largest event of its type in Australia. It is a must-do event for first timers and hard core mountain bikers alike. We invite you to enter a team of four or six riders and experience one of Canberra’s most popular ride locations, East Kowen Forest. While there’s plenty of racing to be had, the MONT is also a pretty laid back event, so if you don’t take your performances too seriously, rest assured you won’t be alone.

In April 2014 Mont will continue its support of the Mont 24 Hour. Dates : 5th – 6th April 2014.
