Where to find the cafe...

Guthega Mountain Centre (GMC) is located at arguably the best backcountry trailhead in the Australian Alps with skis on right from the car park through most of the winter and gorgeous alpine hikes right from the GMC. Whether you want to fuel up for breakfast before a backcountry raid or a resort ripping mission, kick back for a relaxing lunch, go on a guided ski/split or snowshoe tour or take an alpine hike they've got you covered at the GMC with BASECAMP Cafe and Snowy Mountains Backcountry.

In winter, regardless of whether your day has started from Bullocks Flat, Smiggins, Perisher or Guthega this new food venue will be accessible for you. If you are headed to BASECAMP via the ski lifts, Guthega Mountain Centre can be accessed from the Guthega ski area via Norwegian Road, taking a right onto the Guthega Home Trail.

Come up to Guthega this Easter for a great day out, try the newly finished Charlotte Pass to Guthega walk returning to BASECAMP for a relaxing meal & beverage!
