DMM: Celebrating 40 years

For 40 years, DMM have embodied their motto of Climb Now Work Later and, somehow, still become one of the World's biggest and best climbing gear manufacturers. What's their secret!? “Thinking of ideas to celebrate any anniversary, let alone a 40th, can be a tricky business. How big do you go? And how do you make it different to all the other anniversaries?

All the best ideas come when you’re out climbing, right? So Fred Hall (DMM chairman and one of the original founders), and Paul Simkiss (former managing director for 30 years) headed down the road to Dinas Cromlech for a brainstorming session.”
